1. Scope. This explains what we collect and how we use it when you use TertulIA. Our course platform is provided by Thinkific, which processes data on our behalf.
2. What we collect. Account info you give us: name, email, password, language preference. Payment info: handled by our payment processor (e.g., Stripe or PayPal) — we don't see or store full card numbers. Usage data: courses viewed, progress, log and device data, and cookies/analytics.
3. How we use it. To provide and run the Service, process subscriptions, give support, send service and (with consent where required) occasional course emails, and improve our courses. Legal bases where applicable: performance of contract, legitimate interests, and consent.
4. Sharing. We share data with service providers who run the Service for us — notably Thinkific (platform) and our payment processor — under their own terms. We don't sell your personal data. We may disclose data if required by law.
5. Cookies and analytics. The Site uses cookies for sign-in, preferences, and basic analytics. You can control cookies in your browser.
6. Retention. We keep account data while your account is active and as needed for legal, tax, and accounting purposes, then delete or anonymize it.
7. Your rights. Depending on where you live (for example, GDPR in the EU, CCPA/CPRA in California, and Mexico's LFPDPPP), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise them, email

8. International transfers. The Service is hosted in the United States; if you're outside the US, your data is processed there under appropriate safeguards.
9. Children. TertulIA isn't directed to children under 16 and we don't knowingly collect their data.
10. Security. We use reasonable measures (including our providers' security and SSL) to protect your data, but no system is perfectly secure.
